To ensure that the Solid Gold Seventies live experience remains the most spectacular 1970s tribute show in Britain, we have invested heavily in audio visual technology in recent years.
However, a big difference between Solid Gold Seventies and other bands is our ability to tailor our PA system to suit each venue. For smaller events, we use a top of the range active Fohhn PA system which sounds incredible. So where as other bands are stuck with gigantic PA systems that are far too big and inappropriately loud for most venues, we can completely design our PA requirements for each concert.
All of our equipment is regularly inspected and all electrical equipment is tested to meet P.A.T. requirements and to comply with Electricity at Work regulations.
Sound Equipment
For theatre and town hall performances, we tour with a state of the art RCF TT+ PA system. This superb system has proved hugely successful with audiences and sound engineers in every venue commenting on Solid Gold Seventies phenomenal sound.However, a big difference between Solid Gold Seventies and other bands is our ability to tailor our PA system to suit each venue. Lighting Equipment
For 2012, we have completely updated our lighting rig with top of the range intelligent fixtures including moving heads, scanners, colour changing floods, LED fixtures, LASERS and a professional DMX control desk. As with our PA system, our lighting rig is completely modular, so it can be stripped down or expanded to suit each venue. We believe that nowadays there is no excuse for a band to carry bulky equipment which cannot be brought into some venues, or that poses a health and safety risk.Video Projection
For large theatres and halls, we can supply a state of the art video projection system. This uses a flown DLP projector and a massive screen to let the audience sing along with all of their favourite songs and follow all of the action on stageAll of our equipment is regularly inspected and all electrical equipment is tested to meet P.A.T. requirements and to comply with Electricity at Work regulations.
Public Liability Insurance
To ensure extra piece of mind for event organizers, Solid Gold Seventies have been insured for £5,000,000 of public liability insurance for all performances.
